Obama sat in Wright’s church for 20 years, hearing his rants, including: “God damn America” and “Israel is a dirty word,” not to mention giving Farrakhan a lifetime achievement award. The Obamas had Wright marry them and baptize their two children. Obama said Wright brought him to Christ.

But did Santorum sit in Rev. Dozier’s church for 20 years? Santorum is a Catholic; is Dozier a priest? Would I have picked Dozier as my honorary chairman in Florida? No. But who did pick him? Santorum or a local backer? You seem eager to condemn conservatives for wrongs they MIGHT have committed, while fobbing off wrongs actually done by liberals. Check out that beam in your eye–it doesn’t aid clear vision.

Funny the defense, NOW, of catholicism. Were they still alive, RFK and, particularly JFK would tell a DIFFERENT story about how the country felt about having a Catholic president. Just more revisionist history at work. (And we will forget all about those pedophile priests–too distasteful, and you haven’t found a way to spin THAT scandal yet.)

As for Reverend Wright, funny you make no mention of Santorum’s good pal, the Reverend Dozier, whose vitriole and bigotry is far more astonishing than anything Wright said. Why does Dozier get a free pass? By not condemning his hateful tirades, you show tacit approval. So who is the REAL bigot, not to mention hypocrite. Sorry, but the right’s accusations of Obama and his supposed religious bigotry (even though it was conservatives accusing Romney of belonging to a cult) may work with indoctrinated conservatives, but the rest of the country isn’t as easily suckered.

But thanks for the article. Best laugh I have had all day.
