Bureaucrats won’t lose their jobs from shutdown of pipeline, fracking. Fauci & cronies didn’t lose their jobs from 10-month lockdown. A good definition of tyranny is a small elite living well, while foisting crippling regulations on working people, pushing many into poverty.
Of course, the problems of working people never enter the minds of the elite, much less the idea that they should ask the opinions of working people. What, the deplorables, the irredeemables, the racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic bitter clingers to their Bibles and guns? Who could possibly be interested in that they have to say?
