Insurrection: 1) Declared by president as during 1992 LA riot under Insurrection & Posse Comitatus Acts, allowed active duty troops. 2) General term for armed revolt to overthrow govt as during Civil War. Neither was true on Jan 6. Never heard of unarmed insurrection. Never heard of insurrection lasting only a few hours. Never heard of insurrection flying flag of current government.
