Murder More Girls In Pink?

“White House press secretary Jen Psaki invoked the phrase ‘systematic racism’ in discussing the fatal police shooting of a 16-year-old Ohio girl who was seen on video attacking another female with a knife just moments before the verdict in a racially charged Minnesota case was announced.

Psaki called the death of Ma’Khia Bryant, who was shot and killed by an unnamed officer as she appeared ready to stab another girl in close proximity to her, ‘tragic.’

‘We know that police violence disproportionately impacts black and Latino people in communities and that black women and girls, like black men and boys, experience higher rates of police violence,’ she said.”

To see what constitutes “systematic racism” in the minds of the Biden administration, watch this brief video. Apparently, if the police were not afflicted by “systematic racism,” they would have tried to de-escalate the situation by talking to the 16-year-old girl as she used a knife to stab to death the other girl, who was backed up against a car.

It all depends on one’s point of view. To White House Press Secretary Jan Psaki and the Biden administration, the police were demonstrating “systematic racism.” But to the girl whose life they saved, the police were demonstrating their duty to serve and protect.

The knife-wielding teenager was not deterred by the presence of police with drawn guns as she attempted to stab the girl in pink. It is delusional to believe she could have been deterred by any lesser influences. Social workers and therapists might have had some influence on her aggressive tendencies if they had months to work. But the cops had a few seconds to save the life of the girl in pink. To claim the police should not have shot the attacker is to say that the life of the girl in pink was worthless.

If mindless rhetoric from the highest levels of government continues to spew forth, police will take heed and retreat to their patrol cars, radio for backup, and do nothing. And more girls in pink will be murdered. Is that what we want?
