In regard to human-caused global warming, Al Gore told us that it is”settled science.” Science is never settled; it’s constantly advancing. In regard to masking and vaccination, talking heads on TV tell us, “Follow the science.” To paraphrase Harry Truman, these people don’t know any more about science than a pig knows about the Sabbath.

Science isn’t what some government official announces; tomorrow he may announce something else. That’s politics.

Science isn’t some fixed set of beliefs we have to accept to avoid being persecuted. That’s religion, and medieval religion at that.
