A Christian non-profit is challenging the Internal Revenue Service after the agency denied them tax-exempt status saying “the Bible’s teachings are typically affiliated with the Republican Party and candidates.”
This may be the finest compliment this group ever received. And it may be literally true. But in essence, it is an attack on Christianity specifically, and conservative religion in general. If this decision holds, Christian groups will not be tax-exempt, and therefore unable to continue.
