“Missing White Woman Syndrome”? No, Missing Heart

By | September 21, 2021 | 0 Comments

Report: Police in Wyoming find body matching missing Gabby Petito, while her fiancé remains missing.

In response, MSNBC’s Joy Reid belittles the kidnapping and probable murder of a young woman as “missing White woman syndrome,” implying that we worry too much about missing White women. So what would Reid want for “equity”? That the fiancé emerge from hiding and kidnap and murder a young woman of color? There, is that “equitable” enough for you?

Does being “equitable” require being heartless as well? Didn’t know that. Perhaps it does. Does search for “equity” require being a racist? Hope not.
