“No Idea” How China Developed Hypersonic Missile

By | October 17, 2021 | 0 Comments

• US intelligence officials “have no idea” how China developed a nuclear-capable hypersonic missile that might elude our missile-defense system.

Do you suppose that, just possibly:

  • If Secretary of Defense Austin wasn’t preoccupied with rooting out White supremacy from the armed forces (defined as Trump voters?), he might have a bit of time left over to devote to actual defense.
  • If Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Gen. Milley wasn’t busy trying to understand White rage and schmoozing with Chinese generals, he might turn his attention to force readiness for a war with China, which happens to be his job.
  • If Secretary of State Blinken wasn’t busy directing our debacle in Afghanistan, he might turn his attention to diplomacy, which happens to be his job.
  • If the CIA wasn’t run by political hacks and holdovers from the Jurassic Era, it might be able to detect mortal threats to our nation.
  • If the FBI wasn’t busy scrutinizing parents complaining to school boards, it might have time to scrutinize a member of the House Intelligence Committee sleeping with a Chinese spy, or a President’s son in business with unsavory foreign entities.
  • If the NSA wasn’t busy spying on Americans, it might have more resources to devote to spying on our potential enemies.

Character in “The Departed”: Who am I? I’m the guy who does his job. You must be the other guy.

If people weren’t busy with extraneous or actually harmful activities, they might have the time and resources to actually do their jobs. Who knows? It’s worth a try.
