Kyle Rittenhouse is a White supremacist, domestic terrorist, racist, who crossed state lines with a short-barreled military assault rifle, in order to kill peaceful, unarmed Black civil rights demonstrators. But he was found not guilty by a Trumpist judge.
Every one of these statements is factually incorrect and easily checked. But the propaganda had the intended effect: It fomented violence and incited hatred. Of course, those who incited the violence did not suffer from it. They live in affluent neighborhoods or gated communities. They work in upscale offices. Their only contact with police is traffic citations. They live in leftist bubbles.
But the violence is visited on middle class and working class people. including children and minorities. They are the ones who suffer from decreased police presence due to defunding and demoralization. They are the ones who cringe from hateful looks and hateful remarks.
The whirlwind blows on everyone, guilty and innocent alike. But racial and class violence preferentially afflicts those who did not incite it, like this dancing little girl. And that is a sin.
