What Does “Fetus” Mean?

Note to those who try to use words correctly: “Fetus” is Latin for “offspring,” “bringing forth,” or “hatching of young.” It is not Latin for “worthless piece of tissue like decayed tooth or unsightly mole that can be removed whenever one wishes.”
