First the geniuses made Poland a NATO member, then they made Georgia a NATO partner, then they talked about making Ukraine a member. Their aim was to block Russia from expanding. But the result was to make it feel surrounded. Poking a bear with a stick rarely ends well. Making a paranoid feel surrounded never ends well.
