Conservatives who question the 2020 election are ridiculed as “election deniers.” But after the 2016 election, top Democrats like Hillary Clinton called Trump an “illegitimate president.” The Mar-a-Lago raid reflects this same attitude. No other ex-president had his home raided. No other ex-president had his records seized. No other ex-first lady had her clothes closet ransacked.

Hillary used an insecure server for classified  documents, then wiped a hard drive that had been subpoenaed. Obama took boxes of papers with him, and no one did anything. The way Trump has been treated since he left office mirrors the way he was seen in office: not really president.

If you’re not one of us, you’re nobody. If you’re not in the elite group, you don’t exist. This arrogance is annoying in a fraternity boy. It is intolerable in the government of a republic. And we should not tolerate it.
