You recall the old saying, “With friends like these, who needs enemies?” As Kurt Schlichter notes, the “friends” of Ukraine may accomplish its destruction, and ours as well:

“These same foreign policy geniuses who gave us Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya now tell us they are going to destroy the armies of the nation with the most nukes in the world and prosecute its leader, but nah, there’s no chance there’ll be a nuclear war.”

These amateurs and dilettantes know nothing of war. They bear no scars, nor know anyone who does. Their idea of a wound is a paper cut. Their idea of stress is a coffee stain on their shirt before a staff meeting. Their idea of injury is hurt feelings. They sit in academic seminars and power lunches and decide the fate of Ukraine – and of you and me.

They are arrogant, ignorant, incompetent jerks. They are to Ukraine what Pete Buttigieg is to East Palestine, Ohio: At best empty words, at worst destructive. Time for real leadership?
