Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg’s case appears to be falling apart. Attorney Robert Costello destroyed what little remained of attorney Michael Cohen’s credibility, and Cohen was a key witness. Now whatever he testified to may be unusable.

If Trump were arrested, he would emerge as a suffering hero. But now that the indictment seems to be collapsing, Trump may be a hero without the suffering, getting the last laugh on his enemies. Moral: If you want to bring down a prominent person, be careful whom you hire as your lawyers.
