An Asian American student with near-perfect SAT and huge GPA is rejected by all 6 of the top universities he applied to. Yes, this is disgracefully unfair to him. But what about all the rest of us? Potential enemies like China, and competitors like India and South Korea, are educating their best and brightest to compete in a rough world. But we mess around trying to be “fair,” while in the end being fair to no one. If there is a surer plan for national decline,  decreasing wealth, scientific eclipse, and military weakness, I have yet to hear of it.
