Over The Moon
In a hurry this morning. Had time to listen to only five minutes of radio news:
• NASA, which sent men to the moon in the 1960s but has been comatose since, was resuscitated by Trump and is sending men around the moon.
• After the amazingly successful rescue of two downed airmen, Trump warns Iran that his deadline is about to expire, and Iran will give up its weapons-grade uranium voluntarily or involuntarily.
• After renewing the 1960s TV show “Baywatch,” filming has been suspended because L.A. City and L.A. County cannot agree on overnight parking at the beach for night shoots. Moving the show to Florida is discussed.
In five minutes, the whole picture is filled in. NASA is rejuvenated after decades of stupor. Our military is feared again after decades of DEI paralysis. Hollywood is dying from anti-business policies, but Florida is doing just fine, thank you.
When we say we are over the moon, we mean it both literally and figuratively.
