Obama’s Presidential Center – that is, library – looks like the designer decided to abandon all traditional, cultural norms of beauty, order, and symmetry. You know, like the Obama presidency itself.

The idea was not to create something new, but to undermine and demolish everything from prior generations. This is the dream of a petulant child, not a thoughtful adult.

Come to think of it, that’s not a bad definition of progressivism. If I had that dream, I would go to work for a demolition contractor. not go into politics.
