Science Class Or Church?

Post on X claims that it would be better if kids spent Sunday morning in science class rather than in church.

Yes, and then they could be well educated little Nazis. Science teaches how to do things. It says nothing about what to do.

Five days in school isn’t enough to indoctrinate children? The system needs six days? They must be really inefficient and slow.

Here is a man who spent plenty of time in science classes. He earned both an MD and a PhD. He was really smart and well educated. He ended his career as medical officer at Auschwitz Concentration Camp.

His job involved selecting prisoners who were strong enough to work, while the others went directly to the gas chambers and crematoria. His hobby was performing experiments on un-anesthetized prisoners. He put his MD and his PhD to use. Not good use. But use nevertheless.

Yes, Josef Mengele proves the usefulness of science classes. He had no need of church or Sunday School. They would have been no use in his career. We cannot learn science from the Bible, and we cannot learn moral principles from science. It doesn’t have any.
