Strait Of Schrödinger?

Post on X: The Strait of Hormuz should be renamed the Strait of Schrödinger, because it is both open and closed at the same time, depending on who is observing it.

This seems like a good idea, but I am not certain. Perhaps I should ask Schrödinger’s cat. Maybe he or she will know. If he or she is alive. Hard to get a definite answer from a hypothetical cat.

But the problem is all too real. The captain of a ship preparing to transit the strait needs a definite answer: Is the strait open?
