“Students Visited A Mosque And Left Changed”
.
I believe this is true. Most people have a spiritual emptiness that needs to be filled with something. But the students would also have been changed if they visited a Catholic church and prayed the Rosary. Or if they visited a Protestant church and sang “A Mighty Fortress Is Our God.” Or if they visited a synagogue and saw a Torah scroll read.
.
Of course, these activities would be unconstitutional under “separation of church and state.” But visiting a mosque was fine and dandy. Got it?
