Listen to Riley Gaines, the All-American swimmer who was forced to compete against a biological male, and to share the locker room with him. She is 5’8″ and he is 6’4″. Nevertheless, she tied him to 1/100 of a second.
But swimming is not a contact sport. Basketball, soccer, hockey, lacrosse, volleyball, and of course MMA are contact sports. Here the issue is not only fairness but also safety. Those who ignore the safety of women can hardly claim to be feminists. In fact, they can hardly claim to be human.
