“You’ll Get The Needle”
I strongly oppose lethal injection for executing murderers. Not because it is inefficient, but because it is MEDICAL. Healing and killing should never be conflated, mixed together.
A gurney and an IV set should mean only one thing: healing, or at least trying to. Executions, if any, should be clearly different: hanging, electric chair, firing squad. As it is, people actually suggest executing murderers by the Canadian euthanasia team or a Covid ward. Can you see how dangerous this line of thinking is?
This may look primitive, but it doesn’t look MEDICAL.
