Don’t Just Mouth Hatred, Live It

Many people profess to dislike certain racial, ethnic, or religious groups. Sometime this is due to outright bigotry, sometimes to “anti-racism” – if there is any difference. But is this hostility real?

  • Some people dislike Mormons. But if this were true, they would avoid anything designed by that famous member of the LDS Church, John Moses Browning. They would never buy a Colt 1911 Government Model, or a Winchester 1894 rifle or Model 12 shotgun, or any clones of these iconic designs.
  • Some people dislike Jews. They should never allow their children to be vaccinated against polio using either the Salk or Sabin vaccines, or take streptomycin for tuberculosis, or use any other treatments developed by Jews.
  • Some people dislike Americans. They should never avail themselves of the individual freedoms and limited government that American founders invented.
  • Some people dislike capitalism. They should never enjoy the quality of life and freedom from poverty that only capitalism provides.
  • Some people dislike police. They should live in areas where police were defunded and violent crime is rampant.
  • Some people dislike the military. They should live under vicious tyrants who would rule the world were it not for the US and allied military.
  • Some people dislike guns. They should live in areas where not only they but their neighbors are disarmed, so violent thugs can stage home invasions unimpeded.
  • Some people dislike free speech. They should live where government, businesses, and media conspire to stifle their opinions, and “fact-checkers” rule that their ideas are disinformation.

If you aspire to be a hater, put your money where your mouth is. Don’t just mouth hateful ideas, live them.
