Like Playing Chess With Chuck Norris
Trump critics and assorted gurus claim to have read the Iran memorandum of understanding, though it has not been released. Much less have they read the Farsi translation, which is the operative version.
So when they assert that the deal favors Iran, and that the US lost the war, we have the right – in fact the duty – to ask whether this negative opinion is a result of mature analysis or wishful thinking.
To put it plainly, do they think we lost the war, or do they hope we did? It it only Trump they hate, or is it America itself?
Have they considered the possibility that negotiating a treaty with Donald Trump is like playing chess with Chuck Norris?
