Cities With Inadequate Police, Fire Services, Closing Food And Drug Stores–Wait, What?

By | November 1, 2021 | 0 Comments

• Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva predicts 20%-30% drop in personnel as a result of “massive exodus” plus decrease in recruits, caused by vaccine mandate.
• 26% of New York City firehouses closed because of unvaccinated firefighters and paramedics being put on unpaid leave, while volunteers are called for.
• San Francisco Walgreens, Walmarts close, and Safeway cuts hours because of massive shoplifting.

At some point, which may be apparent only in retrospect, the urban decline will pass the point of no return. They are called tipping points because that’s where things tip. And at some other point, which one hopes will come earlier, many people will have had enough, and will take matters into their own hands.

Police and fire protection are not optional extras, they are standard equipment. Food stores and drug stores are not sources of luxury items, they are sources of the necessities of life. When politicians are either so incompetent or so malicious that they allow, or actively encourage, the destruction of essential functions, they must be replaced by responsible politicians.

Cities with inadequate police and fire services, and with closing food and drug stores, cannot survive for long. Only self-destructive idiots fail to understand these basic realities.

This is not Europe, where people believe that power flows from the rulers down. This is America, where people believe that power flows from them up. And we don’t just believe it, we act on that belief. Or at least we used to.  You want to destroy things? Get a job with a demolition contractor, but keep your hands off my country.
