When the Biden administration came in, the US was energy independent and actually exporting oil and natural gas. But they banned fracking on federal land and cancelled the Keystone XL pipeline. As a result, we are again dependent on hostile foreign sources of essential energy. Gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel prices rose sharply. Working-class people can hardly afford to get to work. Everything we need, including food, comes by truck, train, or plane–and is much more expensive.
Vice President Harris’ nervous laugh at least deflects questions she can’t answer. Energy Secretary Granholm’s hearty laugh betrays utter indifference to the problems of working Americans. The self-anointed elite are revealing what they really think of us ignorant, unwashed peasants. Time for us to reveal what we think of them. That will be considerably less than hilarious.
