Breaking News! Human beings are not inanimate objects. They cannot be put into storage for 1½ years, then dusted off and expected to resume their normal activities.
If we store a car for a long time, we must take precautions if we expect it to run again. We keep the battery on a trickle charger. We put the tires on FlatStoppers to prevent flat spots. We drain the gas tank or use a fuel stabilizer. We change the oil before or after storage, depending on whom we listen to. And we do not store the car at all unless it is necessary.
Our cars are valuable, so we take care to store them safely. But our people, especially our young people, we consider less valuable, so we expect them to remain physically, emotionally, educationally, and socially healthy despite prolonged storage. We take no precautions. We follow the advice of Dr. Fauci, who has not actually cared for patients since 1968. Do you believe it is possible that in those 53 years of dealing with viruses, he has forgotten how to deal with human beings – assuming he ever knew?
