What Mouth Contact With Children Is Allowed In A Time Of Covid?

By | July 15, 2023 | 0 Comments
We can argue about what behavior is allowed with children one does not know well. But in a time of Covid, mouth contact is out: spitting on navel, nibbling on shoulder, etc. Children are not popsicles to be licked, they are human beings in God’s image. The problem goes beyond nibbling a shoulder. The problem is that if a child is seen as merely a popsicle, what other behavior may be thought of as appropriate?
.
And sorry, but “cultural differences” just don’t cut it. It’s either appropriate or inappropriate, either allowable or disgusting. Period. Full stop.
