New CA laws Jan. 1:
• Transgender sanctuary, guarantees “right” to puberty blockers, mastectomy, castration.
• Nurse practitioners can do abortions without MDs.
• MDs lose license for “misinformation,” thus penalizing the disagreement on which science depends.
• Jaywalking no longer illegal, so will see more pedestrian deaths.

To say the inmates are running the asylum is to insult mental hospitals. These institutions at least try to help the disturbed to become more normal. California politicians, on the contrary, try to make normal people act more disturbed.

How else would you describe the net effect of these new laws? Block normal physical development, do abortions without doctors, squelch freedom of speech, wander across street on red light? Who does that?
