• Biden administration plans to monitor text messages for vaccine “disinformation.” But what is this? Factually incorrect information, or information the government doesn’t like – for example, accurate information about vaccine side-effects?
• FBI urges family members, co-workers to report people with “extreme” views. But what is this? I plan to build a bomb, or I plan to vote against Biden-Harris? “Extreme” remains undefined, subjective. It’s “If you see something, say something.” It’s not “If you hear anything, say something.”

Monitor text messages? Report family members? On reading these and similar news reports, do you smell the foul odor of approaching totalitarianism? If you don’t, perhaps you already had Covid-19, and your sense of smell is seriously impaired. Because it really stinks.

But what next? Invade the Confessional? It’s been done, you know.
