Winter is coming. We can pretend to change the time, but we can’t change the seasons. Wholesale prices are estimated to be rising between 5% and 8%. The government prints more money for people to spend, but at the same time supply-chain problems leave fewer goods for that money to chase. Obviously, this pushes prices up.
Even worse, there are steep rises in prices of home heating oil, propane, natural gas, and electricity. We hope this will be a mild winter, but we can’t control that, either. If the winter is severe, millions of people will suffer, and some will die. Even before the current crisis, more Americans died of cold in winter than died of heat in summer. Global warming activists won’t admit this, but it is a fact.
Democrats claim to be friends of the “little guy,” but they oversee rises in heating costs as winter approaches. With friends like this, best to dress real warm.
