California Gov. Gavin Newsom: “America today: you can break the law, carry around weapons built for a military, shoot and kill people, and get away with it. That’s the message we’ve just sent to armed vigilantes across the nation.” Read this for some choice replies:
Newsom is related to the Brown, Pelosi, and Getty families. He dined unmasked with lobbyist friends at the state’s most expensive restaurant while he ordered the peasants into lockdown. He travels with police bodyguards while common people fend for themselves, disarmed, as thugs roam the streets unchecked. He looks down from his lofty perch on the ignorant, unwashed masses who are so stupid and naive that they believe they have a God-given right to life – and therefore the right to defend that life if it is threatened.
No, Gavin, Kyle Rittenhouse was just the prologue. Wait till you get into Chapter One. Then perhaps reality will penetrate that thick skull of yours. Then perhaps you and your rich, progressive, elitist friends will finally understand that we are not the docile Europeans you so admire. We are still Americans, or at least many of us are. You can push us only so far with your lockdowns, masking, endless boosters, street crime, defecating homeless, high taxes, and lowered expectations.
And then we will shut off the TV, put down our beers and snacks, get up off our couches, and show you and your progressive friends what it means to push free people too far. It won’t be pleasant, but it will be very educational.
