What about early gun-control laws in South meant to prevent freed slaves from arming themselves? What about Black pastors who used shotguns to protect their churches from night riders? What about the late Roy Innis, head of Council of Racial Equality, who also was on board of directors of NRA? What about his son Niger Innis, who replaced him on the board?

The ACLU cares little about actual civil rights – for example, the right of self-defense, a prerequisite for the right to life. It has become a leftist organization masquerading as a civil rights organization.

America needs a civil rights organization, now that our rights are under assault. It’s a shame we don’t have one.

• Anti-Defamation League partners with PayPal to prevent “extremist” groups and individuals from selling or even buying anything on the internet. Of course, they will decide who is an “extremist.” Anyone who voted for Trump? Anyone who questions anything Dr. Fauci says?

The ADL cares little about actual anti-Semitism, which it was founded to combat. It has become a leftist organization masquerading as an anti-bigotry organization. Some time ago it listed the Celtic cross – a cross with a circle at the center – among symbols of hatred. This cross tops hundreds of Catholic and Protestant churches.

America needs an organization that fights anti-Semitism, which now comes mainly from the left. It’s a shame we don’t have one.
