What Bette Midler thinks of W Virginia is of no importance. But she reflects the self-anointed elite & Democrats in general. What they think of the working class is of great importance. They don’t think about the working class at all.

This is not the Democratic Party of Franklin Roosevelt, with multiple programs to aid urban and rural poor. This isn’t even the Democratic Party of Barack Obama, representing the intellectual elite. This is the Democratic Party of Joe Biden, representing billionaires, big tech, and big pharma. So what do you expect the attitude toward the working class to be? Empathetic? Positive? Or contemptuous and condescending?
