Why do so many stand by idly when people, especially elderly people, are attacked on the street? Why don’t more people intervene to help the victim? Because we taught them to be passive. We forbade them to carry weapons so they can’t intervene effectively. We arrested and sued them for intervening. Read this, by a lawyer and retired Army colonel:
