Stalin proclaimed a record grain harvest while people stood in line for bread. That this was unbelievable was not a problem for Stalin, it was the object. If he could make you accept the unbelievable, he knew that he owned your soul and your mind.

It’s the same with transgender ideology. Media, professional organizations, pundits declare that it’s good for young people to have puberty blocked, be made infertile, then have healthy breasts or genitalia removed. This is patently absurd and harmful, but that isn’t the problem, it’s the object. Professing the unbelievable shows you are an obedient sheep, ready to be fleeced periodically, and eventually slaughtered. Now say baa baa. Good little sheep.
