Ukraine was zero threat to Russia. Putin invaded to reestablish the greater Russia of the czars and Stalin. Now he threatens nuclear war. But should we have stood by idly while Ukraine was devastated and its people killed? Was that the world we wanted to live in? Was that the role models we wanted to be for our children?
