Evangelist Franklin Graham condemns Methodist Church of UK for declaring that “husband” and “wife” are hurtful words that should not be used. Well, then “green” is a hurtful word because some people are color blind. Perhaps the church officials who made this ridiculous ruling were merely describing how painful their own marriages are. Anything is hurtful if you’re looking to be hurt. Anything is offensive if you’re eager to take offense.

Of course, these delicate snowflakes, so ready to take offense and be hurt, remained silent and unmoved when Hamas killed 1400 Israelis and raped and tortured others. Odd how that works. Over-sensitive to imagined slights for themselves, but stony hard to real hurts for others. Who needs religion for that? It’s just plain old narcissism.
