More Problems With EVs

More problems with electric vehicles: The average EV weighs 1000-2000 pounds more than a similar gasoline-powered vehicle because of the heavy battery. This puts extra strain on parking structures and bridges, as well as guardrails meant to keep vehicles out of opposing traffic. This is partially dead weight. Gasoline weighs about 6 pounds a gallon, but nothing when the tank is empty. On the contrary, a dead battery weights almost the same as a fully charged one.
