In recent months, President Biden appeared slow and sleepy. But for the State of the Union speech, he was obviously a different man – alert, speaking rapidly and loudly, using strong language, condemning his political opponents as if they were enemies, but not condemning his nation’s actual enemies.

The internet is full of suggestions that Biden was medicated with a stimulant such as an amphetamine like Adderall. Who knows for sure?  But one thing we do know for sure. This would not be the first time that the leader of a powerful nation was on amphetamines. That did not work out very well, did it?
