Illegal immigrants are model citizens. Think about that. The President of the United States does not (or cannot) distinguish between citizens and non-citizens.

The obvious plan is that soon there will be no distinction between citizens and non-citizens. And if this happens, citizenship will be meaningless and in effect cease to exist.

Oh, you can become a citizen of the UK, France, or Germany, if they will have you. You can become a citizen of Mexico or Salvador. It is difficult, but you can even become a Swiss citizen. But an American citizen? Why bother? Non-citizens are already being granted the right to vote in some local elections. All a Democrat Congress would have to do is pass a law with a slim majority, and non-citizens could vote in national elections.

The country would cease to exist. No language, no borders, no agreed-on culture, and no citizens. That wouldn’t even be an excuse for a country. It would only be a pleasant memory. And with our woke educational system, even the memory would soon fade.

Kids would be taught that they are “citizens of the world,” which carries no obligation except breathing. Patriotism? Duty to defend the country against all enemies, foreign or domestic? Say what? How could they even distinguish friends from enemies? No vivid reds, whites, and blues. Just an indistinguishable gray. How inexpressibly sad.
