Headline on Michael Savage:
Strange bedfellows: far-right, far-left unite against Jews
My father said it: Anti-Semitism is like beige, it goes with everything. Far right or far left. Nazism, fascism, capitalism, socialism, communism. University intellectuals, backwoods red-necks. Rich, poor. Religious, atheists. White, Black, Asians. You name it, there will be anti-Semites there. Just check out the mobs of bigots from Columbia to UCLA.
Why did God pick the Jews as His Chosen People? Why did He give His Ten Commandments and His Bible to them? I don’t know. When you meet Him, ask Him.
There is something universal about anti-Semitism. The very word is revealing. We have anti-American and anti-British. We have anti-Christian and anti-Muslim. But according to the AP Style Manual, we have antisemitism and antisemitic. Why is -semitic not worthy of a capital letter? If I type anti-Semitic as I was taught years ago, Word flags it as misspelled. Odd how those things work.
