They tried to get rid of him with multiple criminal charges, in one case involving 34 separate felonies. They tried to get rid of him with countless lies, such as Nazis being “very fine people.” They tried to get rid of him with armed FBI agents raiding Mar-a-Lago, with minimal planning to avoid blue-on-blue violence. Did they hope Trump would be there, or did they take care that he was not? We’ll never know.
