For the second time at the Paris Olympics, a biological male who had been previously banned dominated his female opponent. This time the female opponent finished the fight, unlike the first woman boxer who quit after 46 seconds. So do I salute this woman for taking punishment without hope of winning, or do I pity her for allowing herself to be beaten up by a man? A little of both?
The drag queen “Last Supper” at the opening ceremony was a deep insult to Christianity, and to religion in general. But this is worse. The “Last Supper” hurt our feelings. Biological males fighting biological females can cause physical injury. MMA fighters and volleyball players have been sent to the hospital.
It is one thing to insult the Bible. It is another to insult reality itself. Small children soon learn that, on average, boys are stronger than girls. A boy who hits a girl will be set straight by other boys, and by girls as well. This lesson in morality and self-protection is learned early. It takes a college education to unlearn it, and learn to approve men hitting women. It takes a college education to learn to deny reality. Grad school helps even more.

The commentator says she didn’t see contact, and internet yappers are almost unanimous in condemning Clark for “flopping,” feigning injury. But close inspection of the photos showed blood in her left ear canal, and she was diagnosed with a ruptured eardrum. Know how painful that can be? Know how it may be associated with a TBI (traumatic brain injury)? But if you ask WNBA fans, I’ll bet you will find more who think Caitlin “flopped” than that she was injured. She was hurt. The truth was hurt more.
• Two Olympic women boxers are forced to fight biological males. One quits after she feels the powerful punches. The other completes the fight, risking brain injury. And what do the cheering fans in the stadium believe? I’ll bet you will find more who believe they witnessed Olympic boxing than those who realize they watched men beating up women. The women boxers were punched. The truth was knocked clean out.
Insulting religion is a prelude to persecution. Insulting reality is a prelude to even worse. Caitlin Clark didn’t have a ruptured eardrum. Two women boxers weren’t beaten up my men. Kamala Harris wasn’t the border czar. Donald Trump wasn’t shot in the head. But what comes next? Fasten your seat belts. Storm clouds are gathering, and it may get bumpy.
