Why Argue About Citizenship If The Word Is Meaningless?

GOP calls for investigation after noncitizen receives ballot without registering to vote

What does being a citizen mean? Or as a lawyer would say, what if anything does it mean?

• First and foremost, it means the right to vote. Except when it doesn’t Thousands, and perhaps millions, of non-citizens receive ballots in the mail. Many admit to actually having voted, and more would admit it if it were not a criminal offense.

• For years, courts have ordered that ballots be printed in multiple foreign languages, despite the fact that only citizens can legally vote, and a knowledge of English is required for citizenship. This is a tacit admission that either (a) non-citizens are voting, or (b) the citizenship test is worthless, or (c) both of the above.

• In some places, illegal aliens are allowed to vote in local elections. This is a tacit admission that leftists plan to allow them to vote in national elections as well. It couldn’t be more obvious.

• Illegal aliens are given driver’s licenses with the excuse that they need to drive to  work. But employing workers without green cards is illegal. This is a tacit admission that vehicle codes and employment laws are being freely ignored.

It’s pointless to argue about something that we have allowed to become meaningless. Sadly, citizenship now falls in this category. The question is, why did we allow it to become meaningless, and what can we do about it? Perhaps that is why Trump is so feared and hated by the left. It’s not because of his policies, which are mainstream conservative policies. No, it’s more fundamental than that.

What was Trump doing with his bloody ear and his raised fist? He was restoring meaning to citizenship. Oh no, can’t have that. That would make the leftists and the globalists uncomfortable. You bet your a** it would.
