Biden-Harris Remove Secret Service Protection For RFK Jr.
After months of requesting Secret Service protection because of numerous threats, Robert Kennedy Jr. was finally granted it by the administration. But now, just as he endorsed Trump, it was withdrawn. Things to consider:
1) RFK Jr. is no longer a candidate and is no longer entitled to protection. But is this the case?
2) RFK Jr suspended his campaign but did not officially end it. He remains on the ballot in some states. If something happened to Trump, conceivably RFK Jr. could be elected.
3) This looks like punishment for endorsing Trump. If Harris cared about “optics,” she would not have allowed this. But if she is willing to show the iron hand inside the velvet glove, why not? Show everyone who is boss.
4) If we are concerned about RFK Jr.’s safety, Biden-Harris just did him a favor. Now he can hire private security, who will not allow him to mount the podium with an unknown man with a rifle and a range finder on a rooftop. That way, he will not join his father and his uncle John F. Kennedy in the next world, discussing the politics of assassination and musing about what might have been.
