Trump going golfing was an off-agenda event. It was not on the published schedule. To know Trump was on the golf course, the would-be assassin would have to either:
1) Have set up extensive surveillance, either by himself or by a co-conspirator, or
2) Be tipped off by a mole in the Secret Service or Dept. of Homeland Security.

All this raises serious questions that demand answers. But will we have the courage to ask them? There are different forms of courage. The most obvious is physical courage. This was demonstrated by the agents who used their own bodies to shield Trump when he was under fire at Butler, PA.

Then there is intellectual courage, which may be even rarer. This includes the ability to say, “I don’t know, but I intend to find out.” Embarrassed not to know? Who cares? Admit it regardless. Well, do we have the guts to say that? The life of our constitutional republic depends on it. And actual lives depend on it as well. We don’t know, but we intend to find out.
