DeSantis To Head Florida’s Own Investigation

DeSantis declares state probe of Trump assassination attempt, questions Justice Dept.’s impartiality

Gov. DeSantis announces that Florida will conduct its own investigation of the almost-assassination at the golf course. This is welcome news. We were worried that the FBI’s golf course investigation would yield as much useful information as the Butler, PA investigation – that is, absolutely nothing.

Of course, it may well be that the Butler investigation went as planned. It was intended to reveal nothing of interest that could possibly embarrass the Biden-Harris Administration. And it did even better. It revealed nothing of interest at all. We really didn’t need to pay for another charade of an investigation. We wanted an actual investigation. Now we may get one. Thanks, Governor DeSantis.

To discover wrongdoing
We need the outside
Can't investigate yourself
There's so much to hide

Negligence is bad
A cover-up is worse
But a cover-up of a cover-up
