Well, of course. Why else would he have hidden out for hours in the bushes surrounding the golf course? Why else would he have a scoped semiautomatic version of an AK47? His motive, like the motive of the Butler, Pennsylvania killer, remains obscure. Who knows? He might have been hunting cape buffalo. I hear there are a lot of them in Florida.

Why not charge him with trespassing? Sentence him to 30 days home confinement, then suspend the sentence. No need to wear an ankle monitor. That way, he will have plenty of time before the election to put into effect his obscure motive. Yes, that sounds like a plan.
