Andrew McCarthy, former U.S. Attorney – that is, prosecutor – explores the Hunter Biden laptop story. When 51 former intelligence officials wrote a letter claiming that the laptop story was a Russian hoax, the laptop already had been in FBI custody for months. That is, the “Russian hoax” claim was not a mistake but an outright lie, designed to affect the election.
It did. Many thousands would not have voted for Biden and Harris if they had known about the Biden family shenanigans.
So now, we can’t trust intelligence officials not to be political operatives. And Trump is called a “threat to democracy.” What greater threat to democracy could there be than intelligence officials who act as stooges for politicians?
McCarthy is no fan of Trump. So when he exposes the dangerous ramifications of the Hunter Biden laptop story, we should listen. The FBI is a law-enforcement agency. The CIA is forbidden to act within the United States. When intelligence officials stick their noses into the political arena, very loud alarm bells should go off.
The time to pull the fire alarm is when you first smell smoke, not when the whole place is engulfed in flames. Then it is too late. And we are getting awfully close to that point.
